Yesterday, I wrote about arthritis (Need help with arthritis?) and some anti-inflammatory foods that help alleviate its detrimental effects on the body. Today, I have compiled a whole list of foods  that help prevent inflammation and assist the body in neutralizing negative outcomes.

  1. I have been told that ALL grains create inflammation. Is this correct? I am 38 years old and have severe inflammation throughout my entire body. I have a very physically demanding job and am unable to handle my body pain. Any suggestions as to exercise I may participate in that will help?

    • The best thing I’ve ever tried that decreased the inflammation in my body came from the book, The Plan by Lyn-Genet Recitas. I never would have believed that food had such an impact on one’s body had I not tried the recommended foods in this book. It’s worth the cost of a book, for sure!

  2. Could you please explain why you specify canned for the tuna and salmon?

    Are canned tuna and salmon somehow better than fresh for anti-inflammatory purposes?

  3. Thank you! I have struggling with asthma and I only occasionally take advair, when it gets bad, but I want to completely reduce inflammation in my body, holistically. This information will help a lot. I hope to be able to reduce the inflammation dramatically enough to be free from advair and any other asthma meds.

  4. Thanks so much for taking the time and effort to make this list. I have been searching for anti inflammatory foods ever since i discovered i have several food intolerances. This is going to help me make my next grocery list!
